Our trip is subject to changes according to weather, local policy, or unexpected circumstances. We keep a flexible mind, and stay open to adjusting to the conditions we may encounter. Rita will always make the best possible decisions in order to keep our trip as enjoyable and rich as possible.

More about the trip

At NAMKHA we believe that traveling is more than seeing places and exploring externally. We see it as a way of getting to know ourselves deeper, relating to others and the world, and expanding our awareness of who we are.

During this trip we will have moments for exercises - group sharing, nature therapy, short meditations, journaling, and self reflection. Every activity is optional and encouraged.

We will create group agreements, so that everyone feels comfortable.

We will be setting traveling intentions at the start of the trip, and there will be an inner process of transformation happening as we externally explore Japan. There will be a flow between group awareness, and individual presence. We keep individual integrity, as we also become group, and weave ourselves with the place we’re visiting.

When you register, you receive detailed information about what to pack for this trip + cultural suggestions to start traveling before you set off, and suggested journaling prompts to create intentionality for the trip.

This trip will have a WhatsApp group. We can use it for questions before the trip. We use it during the trip to stay in touch and make arrangements. After the trip we can use it to share travel memories and keep our connection.

“Rita is way more than your average tour guide. As well as designing a thoughtful and diverse itinerary, her appreciation of the spiritual aspects of time and place added an extra and very significant dimension to our Bhutan trip. Her attention to detail along with an easy going manner provided a relaxing, secure and inspiring journey on all levels. I can't recommend her highly enough.”

I traveled with Rita to Tibet and what stood out was her deep knowledge and respect for the culture and how a traveler can positively impact the most vulnerable local communities. Rita's awareness and values are of such a high level that the traveling experience is so inspiring and I already signed up for her next trip!
